 With experience in the private, public and nonprofit sectors, J. J. Ament brings a unique combination of expertise to his role as CEO of the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation.  J. J. served for six years as a member of the Colorado Economic Development Commission, completing his service in 2017 as Chairman, overseeing state economic development incentives, grants and tax credits.

The Metro Denver EDC is the nation’s first regional economic development entity, bringing together more than 70 cities, counties, and economic development agencies in the nine-county Metro Denver and Northern Colorado area. The Metro Denver EDC is an affiliate of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce.
