The Leadership Journey: Wharton's new undergraduate experiential learning framework and implications for HR and business leaders

Lori Rosenkopf, Professor of Management and Vice Dean and Director, Wharton Undergraduate Program, The University of Pennsylvania

The Leadership Journey, introduced in the fall of 2017 to new Wharton undergraduate students, is a set of four modules that prepares students for leadership roles by providing experiential learning, as well as evidence-based content on leadership, communication, teamwork and diversity.

In this session, Lori will discuss:

  • the research that informed the initiative
  • give participants a hands-on experience with a Wharton case study,
  •  and engage us in discussion on the implications for HR and business leaders for on-boarding newly minted business school graduates.
