Honing Your Pitch: Persuade, Influence and Inspire Others

Michael Collins, Founder of Be Story Driven

Be Story Driven trainer, Michael Collins, will lead a series of interactive, improvised exercises designed to provide a better awareness of presence, engagement and collaboration. To put your mind at ease, improv has nothing to do with being funny, witty or absurd. It’s about listening, honesty and support.

You will walk away from this experience with new ideas on how to connect with others and tools you can put into action immediately.

Presence: How are you coming across? What is influencing it? Learn about how being intentional with your words and presence makes a difference. Experience how eye contact, physicality and defining your space are important elements in establishing your presence.

Engagement: Discover the art of connection – to your message, to your team, to your audience. Make a personal connection to your message and your audience with confidence. Participants will learn how to establish trust and how to tune in to group dynamic.

Collaboration: Participants learn about the “Yes, and…” philosophy as they are guided through exercises that challenge their way of thinking, relating and building on ideas. Active listening and letting go of preconceived notions may be more difficult than you think.

Outcomes

·         Better awareness of one’s presence

·         The ability to connect with others more effectively
